Achievement Overview
Although final decisions only depend on the iGEM judges, we belief self-assessing our project will allow deeper reflections and thorough understandings of what we've done what what we could improve on. On this page, we garnered relevant information of the evaluation of prizes.
Bronze Medal Criteria
Based on past work and submissions, our self assessment demonstrates our fulfillment of bronze medal criterias.

Silver Medal Criteria
Along with bronze, our self assessment also proves our fulfillment of the silver medal criterias as we were able to achieve engineering success and carried out human practice efforts.
- Engineering Success
- Human Practices
Gold Medal Criteria
Additionally, we believe we were able to demonstrate through our project our excellence in synthetic biology. We present 3 links below that makes us believe we have validated the gold metal criteria.
- Integrated Human Practices
- New Composite Parts
- Safety and Security
Best Integrated Human Practices
Throughout the development of our project, we engaged in every possible human practice activity to shape and model its path. After brainstorming possible directions, we engaged with locals to gain deeper understandings of the problem and with experts to modify our project design. Moreover, we collected data that later became critical in our project direction through surveys and educational activities. In essence, we were able to connect and collaborate with people, organizations, and specialists to reach success. Relevant information can be found on our
HP page.
Best New Composite Parts
Our team introduced 12 new composite parts to the iGEM Registry, all of which are novel and provide useful functions. All parts adhere to requirements of iGEM and the Registry's submissions. These parts, after introduction, will provide useful guidance and usage for future iGEM teams hoping to construct related projects. More relevant information about our new composite parts can be found on our
parts page.
Best Safety and Security
We were able to effectively manage safety concerns in our project. We utilized low risk chassis, conducted in-depth research on fragrance molecules, constructed a suicidal system in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803, followed strict lab safety rules, and had full lessons on safety issues present during experiments. Our safety measures were successfully implemented and created no harm to experimenters or the environment. For more detailed safety measures, visit our
safety page.
